Stan,
Just finished reading your 'The War for Saudia Arabia' piece you referred to in this blog. Want to thank you for giving substance to a "gut feeling" I've long had but been unable to articulate well or substantiate at all. i.e. Bin Laden is pulling the strings and "The Bush, Blair, Howard Dance Ensemble" are hoofing it to HIS tune. Thanks for the flesh to complete my skeleton theory.
When we met the Tuesday in Fayetteville, I'm sorry to say I had no idea who you were or how deeply our philosophical concepts matched. I deeply admire your courage and your ability to find the intellectual traction to make a clear case in the midst of the slimy
brain rot that seems insurmountable to me. Nice site. Been all over it. Ordering your books. Can't wait. Thanks for the tools. Nice to carry along sharp weapons in my personal war against stupidity (apathy? ignorance? evil? Who knows?). Hope to meet you again sometime with a full appreciation of your contribution to the world.
I'm with you, man! Keep on bloggin'.

Stan - Have to agree with you. By the way, I caught something on BBC's Planets series that makes me wonder - Kennedy offered to cooperate with the Russians on the Space Program. First time, Nikita turned him down, but according to Nikita's son, the deal was about to be offered again and this time the Russians would accept it. But Kennedy was assassinated so that ended that. Wonder what would have happened to the military-industrial-financial complex if the US and the Russians would have learned to work together. Also, RFK is supposed to have been for normalizing relations with Castro in 1963. Guess the Muslims would have had to stp in as the nominated enemies earlier than planned -- just kidding. But it does make you wonder. With Trillions in profits, what would have happened to the 80's? Maybe a real peace dividend? What do you think?
