APOLOGIES & EXPLANATIONS

Sorry for the delays in reconstruction and moderation. I had to wait on the able assistance of my techie comrades Ruby and Brian to fix this stuff.

Damn hackers!

Hope this new format is readable and user friendly.

    I love this blog.

Since you are changing the looks arround, and if you are taking comments on the style and looks - I vote for light backgroung (white) and dark easy to read text. I have a hard time (my sight is not so good sometimes) with dark pages and pink font type sites ;)

    Thanks for the great posting!

Glad you made the switch from the last black background/courier font style - but can you get back to anything close to the original? I thought it was an excellent and readable design.

But this works, as it is. Aesthetics only go so far, and you have the substance to stand on its own or back up the best design.

Like the new format - checking to see if it accepts comments from my laptop….

Ah, yes, it does. Interesting. As someone noted, your content is so outstanding no one will complain much about the format or graphics… suit yourself!

I did not know where to post this so this looks as good a place as any.
I saw an article about a nude bike ride through Vermont to promote bike riding and the beauty of the human body. I would think that the organizers of this event should have realized that the conception of safe bike riding is far more important that nude bike riding.
To lose a child in a war is a terrible expeience. Yet once the initial shock wears off a parent is not going to be surprised there will be so many other around who have also suffered this lose. To lose a child in a bicycle accident in a peacful country to me seems even more unbearable because it is so unexpected. A parent will feel alone in thier grief. Losing a father is no picnic either. Bicycles are dangerous.
Some people gripe about how dangerous cars are but I would be willing to bet if we all had to get around by bicycle or horse the number of fatalities per million miles traveled would also be very high.
