Martin Lee Anderson, 14, Black… dead. J’accuse!

The video surveillance tape that “escaped” from the Bay County Juvie Facility in Panama City, Florida documented that the entire Bush dynasty is comfortable overseeing systems that employ torture and extrajudicial execution as a method for exercising their control.

Martin Lee Anderson was a troubled kid of 14 years. He violated probation and took his Grandma’s car. Did the Bush-Gusano State Government of Florida intervene to help salvage this kid? No. He was Black. So they murdered him.

The mass protests and national furor that surround this case (at least in African America, while the pale burbs dream along blissfully about their non-existent futures) have torn loose a grudging mea culpa from Prince Jeb, like it was a rag in the teeth of a Rottweiller.

Anyone who has seen this video, if they engage the clutch on just one bundle of cerebral neurons, will note that the prison doctor was not called to the scene after the beating that killed Martin. She was there DURING the beating, stethescope around her neck like she was on her rounds, standing phlegmatically by until the pigs completed their next installment of vandalism against this adolescent body, then stepping through the hole the pigs provided to check his vitals.

This tells us two things very clearly. One, this was standard operating procedure in these ostensible rehabilitation facilities. Two, she was assisting. This is how physicians assist torturers.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Guy Tunnell was the chief Jeb Bush thug designated to oversee Florida’s “law enforcement” and to conduct the investigation of the Bay County facility where the murder happened, one that he himself founded. The walls caved in in the face ot the African American protests, with the further “escape” of Tunnel’s jokes to Lieutenant Governor Toni Jennings - who seemed unaffected by these remakes when they happened, suggesting much about the tenor of all these insider conversatons in the Gusano-Cracker Joint Republic - that Jesse jackson was “Jesse James” and Barack Obama was “Osama bin Laden.”

Given that Obama is a mainstream Democrat moderate, it is not stretch to ascertain that Tunnell’s objections to both these public figures was their color. Tunnell is a racist, and many people understood this, and this is precisely why guys like him get political appointments. It shores up the white supremacist base of the Republican Party.

Bush hand picked this cheap thug after rejecting more than 30 other more qualified applicants for the job - partly based on a recommendaton from a big Republican funder in Bay County (Earl Durden) - and in the wake of a racial scandal. Tunnell, as the Sheriff of Bay County, oversaw a months-long 1997 harrassment campaign against a Black dance club, called the Sun Dancer, that was outraging the white residents of Panama City Beach… because it attracted Black patrons to predominantly white areas. Tunnell’s newfound notoriety then stoked the fires of Black resentment, but in turn fired up the negrophobic base of the Republican Party and endeared him to Prince Jeb.

Tunnell’s “boot camp,” meaning juvenile torture center, was being criticized by the maligned Black public figures he slandered. Get it? Tunnell founded that boot camp, then he was in charge of investigating the camp for abuses committted by individuals that he knew and hired!

This is the state where Jeb Bush and State Republican Party Chair cum Attorney General Katharine Harris supervised the 2000 election fraud that put Jeb’s brother into office in the first place. Using felony disfranchisement laws, a Jim Crow redux program still operating in various guises in 49 states and the District of Colombia, the Cracker-Gusano Republic simply listed huge blocs of Democratic, mostly Black voters, to be felons, then scrubbed their names from the voting rolls.

This is fudging even according to their own Jim Crow standards, but never fear. The Democratic Party put up token resistance fora week or two, then rolled over and played dead. The fact is, they lock of Black people at very high rates, too. Fighting for a fraction of that white-bloc, you see. That’s why you don’t see a flood of white Democratic elected officials speaking out now against the Florida lynching of Martin Lee Anderson.

In Florida, the Black population of the state is 14%. The inmate population in Florida is 48.1% But lest anyone think that Republican direct support of white supremacy outdoes Democratic opportunism, I will note that in Demcoratic states the ratio is just as high, or higher. In fact, the Red State south has a generally lower ratio of Black incarceration than the rest of the country.

Surprise, surprise. You thought I was going to stop short with an indictment of Jeb Bush and his newly resigned thug, Tunnell. But Martin Lee Anderson wasn’t just murdered by the pigs in a Florida child-prison. He wasn’t just murdered by the Republican base that sees African America as the enemy. Martin Lee Anderson’s murder had an accessory before and after the fact. The Democratic electoral establishment sees Black people as disposable.

Same piece of shit party establishment that co-signed the war and refuses to take a stand to stop it. Same piece of shit party establishment that stood by and watched its own Cynthia McKinney get raked over the coals by racist cops, a racist Congress, and a racist press without lifting a finger to defend her.

J’accuse!

You know, most Black folks aren’t familiar with the phrase “national oppression,” but they sure have met it face-to-face. Besides Katrina, I can’t think of another situation that more clearly illustrates what this term means.

A fourteen-year-old child is beaten to death by prison guards, so obviously there should be massive outrage from the entire public. But if that child is Black, only the Black community will be outraged. Sometimes, only the Black community will even know that it happened. What does that say about this society?

You and I already know the answer to that, but will the masses of white folks ever figure it out?

I am outraged. The current administration is just the worst of a whole bunch of apples gone rotten. The blatant disregard for human rights by the Bush-cronie Regime, which is silently cosigned by the spineless and just as corrupt so-called Democratic party, truly flies in the face of the principals upon which this country was founded. Namely freedom from tyranny and equal protection under the law for all. I really hate to say this, but we Americans are the bad guys, bad on human rights, bad on free democratic elections, bad on protecting consumers from greedy, monopolistic corporate tyrants, bad on respecting or even acknowledging the rule of law (international or domestic)… BAD. We have no right to point the finger at anyone else while we live in the decadent squalor of the most corrupt government on the planet. We need leadership that can affect real change toward a socially responsible government. The leadership of this country has come from the top down, economically for so long that the people have lost touch with the fact that they, THE PEOPLE, are the power. I would be proud to stand with my Black brothers and sisters in bringing about change, but I believe that we must do so under new leadership. The problem seems to be that our system is so corrupt that good people go bad or at the very least spineless within a short time of arrival in D.C.(District of Corruption). There may be a terrible price to be paid for change, but I have become ready to pay to once again be proud of my country. I know there are a lot of good people out there … let us rise up and reclaim our nation together. Refuse, resist, revolt and call for free elections here first.

Damn Stan … there is just so much to be outraged about these days.Really always, I’m fortunate the cops didn’t beat me to death when I was adolescent. They could be brutal I’m white and grew up blue collar area.
Of course I was a hoodlum. But fortunately I was given an opportunity to join the Army rather than go to reform school. You know there were still body bags to fill in Vietnam. Again, fortunately they discovered I was unable to adapt to military life before going east.Antisocial personality and such you know.Assholes!!
    peace

All i have to say is that i was a ex girlfriend, of martin.. yes i loved him, and its hard for me to wake up every morning knowing that hes not here with me.it still hurt me too this day, that parents/guardians would do something like this to someone’s child..ha was only 14 years old..he did not desreve that.I pray every night hopin and wishing that the people that did this to him, will get what they deserve.. i wanna say something else but im not.but i am gonna be real about this.Black or not black, no body deserves to loose a child in such hateful way.I cant even imagine what Mrs.Gina and her family are going through.I am so sorry that they had to experience such as awful lost.Well im think im about to start crying just talkin about it.Some of my friends tell me that i need to move on,and let god do his work.. But i cant its not that easy, trying to forget about some one you reall you cared about..But thats all i have to say ,so i guess its bye for now!!!!

  7. Stan:

    You said a lot, La’Brittny.

And I’ve been told by some that God’s work gets done by people.

Frederick Douglass, a very smart guy, said something else, too.

“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never has; and it never will.”

    Stay strong, young sister.

  8. Ms Walton:

Well the the new autopsy has been released and it’s time that those assholes pay for what they did to this child. So now who telling a damn lie!! This mess is awful. Then all these cold hearted people can say is that he was black and a trouble maker and BS like that. SO DAMN WHAT!!! Maybe if those assholes and stupid ass nurse would not have killed him maybe he would have had the chance to change and prove to himself that he is a better person trying to do the right thang. Now he is 6 feet under and will never have a chance. That’s alright Martin, I didn’t know u but I marched for you boo with your parents and my other college friends in Tallahassee, Florida. Like your mother said you are gone now but we are your voice R.I.P boo. May all you racist bitches a and murderers burn in hell with gasoline underwear on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Cheleway:

Is there anything I can do?

  10. David:

No arrest have been made. WTF is that. I am a white man, who is married to an African American Woman for 14 lovely years. I have 2 children, 15 and 11. What is this world coming to? Has humanity lost its freaking mind. These abusive pigs are lucky that was not my child because they wouldn’t have to worry about charges. I would kill them myself and stand over them just like they did to that poor child. If that boys was white this would still be in the news as a major incident. Down will all the Bush’s.

    Peace.

    David

  11. Cerberus:

All things aside isnt this typical….parents are unable or unwilling to discipline their child and need some outside source to help them. Regardless of race this is an important fact that most ignore. When it boils down to it who is at fault for your child being an undisciplined bain on society? Stop coddling them and start being a parent plain and simple.

  12. Stan:

I encourage readers to check out Cerberus’ misogynist, hateful website — with sexist shit all over the front page — to see just where this simple-minded authoritarianism comes from. I have to assume that while he is disciplining HIS children (if he has any) he will also be schooling them (boys only) in the joys of male power, Freudian firearms worship, pornography, Islamophobia, and the humiliation of women. This is someone who is deeply insecure about sexuality, and who is straining to display a hyper-masculine pose.

Anyone who has missed the connections between male sexual terror and racist authoritarianism, take heed.

  13. Sandy:

Hi…I live in the Gulf Breeze/Navarre Florida area which is right down the road from Panama City, and this situation has affected this entire area with outrage (BLACKS, WHITES, LATINOS, ETC.— ALL RACES!!) I, myself, am a white lady of 32 years with a 10 year old daughter and a 12 year old son, and I have been outraged at this situation since I learned of it. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE GOOD OLD BOY NETWORK IN THIS AREA IS VERY DIVIDED ON THIS ISSUE BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE THAT BELONG TO THIS LITTLE CLIQUE ARE ON THE SAME PAYROLL AS THESE MURDERERS, AND THEN THERE ARE PEOPLE WITHIN THE “NETWORK” THAT DON’T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE MURDERERS BECAUSE THEY KILLED A CHILD & MOST HAVE REALIZED THAT IT COULD BE THEIR OWN ONE DAY, AND THEN THERE ARE THE ONES THAT DON’T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT PERIOD!! It is an outrage that in this day and age that this kind of racist behavior can still exist, but what it boils down to is that THESE BASTARDS KILLED A CHILD!!!!!!!!!!! First of all, I think that the young man, Aaron Swartz, (the young man that witnessed this beating first hand) is very brave for stepping up & telling what he witnessed first hand. I sincerely believe this young man when he stated that all of the children at this boot camp were treated in this same manner, but with young Martin Anderson these slimeballs took this TOO A LEVEL THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED—THEY MURDERED THIS YOUNG MAN–A YOUNG MAN THAT SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN IN THEIR CARE!! Now we have another life that is lost, another young man that will never graduate, go on to marry and have children of his own. To Martin’s parents, I am so terribly sorry for your loss and I pray for you!! Please let me say that I am sorry that this happened to your family, and I will keep you in my prayers!! I just wanted to let you know that there are actually some white people that are outraged at this situation that actually live in your area!! I PRAY THAT THESE GUYS AND THAT NURSE GET WHAT THEY DESERVE, AND I HOPE THEY ALL GO TO JAIL FOR A LONG TIME! Ultimately, FLORIDA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SITUATION—- WHERE WAS THE SUPERVISION OVER THIS FACILITY BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA? Basically, Florida needs to get their crap together!! Remember that this is also a state that also did not know where over 800 to 1200 children were that were placed in the Florida Child Welfare System & this many children were placed with foster families and guardians, but an investigation (after the disappearance of Precious Doe aka Erica Michelle Maria Green) led to the discovery that the state of Florida could not account for the whereabouts of 800-1200 children that were ordered to be in their cared and their cases were suppossed to be routinely monitored. That alone speaks volumes about the mismanagement of Florida Child Protective Services! ALSO, lets remember little Erica Michelle Maria Green, as May 5, 2006 marks the one year anniversary of the day that her stepfather and her mother were indicted for her death. Lets all remember Martin Anderson!! Lets remember all of the children (black, white, latino, asian, japanese, etc.) that are victims of violence!) Ultimately, NO CHILD OF ANY RACE SHOULD BE SUBJECTED TO THIS KIND OF VIOLENCE!!! I just wanted to let you know that there are some white people that are as outraged as you are, and I personally will keep Martin and his family in my prayers. Again to Martin’s family, I AM SO SORRY AND I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS!!!!!!!

  14. DeAnander:

congratulations america. people in England are reading about this.

  15. Regina Howard-Sims:

I was doing a search on a totally different subject and came across Martin’s story. I was outraged. I watched the video and cried. I can not even begin to imagine how his family felt when watching this video….Same ole same ole….This act of brutality must be “business as usual” with so many “adults” stadnging around doing nothing. A modern day lynching….He and Emmett Till about the same age? I am outraged. I want to do something…These responsible should be eliminated from this world. I live in Georgia, is there anything I can do? Our local NAACP doesn’t do anything! I want to come and protest. I want to share my grief and outrage in a manner where it is noticed! We as a black community must find ways to discipline and mentor our children without getting law enforcement involved, do they truly have our children’s best interest in mind?

  16. Bambi:

Well, I’m white folk, but when I read about this shiTTT, I was, and still am, outraged! I was glad to read today, that these murderers are being charged. However, that won’t bring back this young man. Still, I pray that justice prevails in this case. I am just heartsick that he had to suffer and die. NO EXCUSE!!!

  17. latoya:

im a cusion of his on his moms side and im crying just talking about it all i want to say is YALL BASTARDS PAYIN TIME AINT GONE BRING MY COUSIN BACK!!! BUT IT WILL MAKE SURE IT HAPPENS TO ANYONE ELSE

  18. Anika:

I personally knew Martin and his family… His young sister Startavia often came with me to do my errands. The death of Martin was such a tragic event that I left Panama City and moved to Los Angeles with my family. Not only did I see flyers of posters here for Martin…. Lil Capone as we called him. But it made me realize that even our young black men are subject to abuse by the pigs

  19. odd gunner:

I am a Norwegian who read about this tragic og racist incident. I am in shock that there are camps in the US that uses methods as shown on the video. Boot camp? No fuckin way, thats abu gahrib/guantanamo look alike camp.

Why in gods name do the authorities use methods like this on youth that need understanding, proper and adequate treatment for their problems? I hope that the people involved in the death of Martin get locked up for life. And the fuckin nurse, burn the bitch.

    odd gunner

  20. fincenMIB:

The biggest problem is there are over 1,000 activist many white that were not joined in this issue. A string of victims exist from over several years of dealing with WWASP. This was not a race issue, but one where all races are abused. Girls raped, other kids beaten and starved! The owner of all WWASP facilities Robert Litchfield! You watch the National News? Mitt Romneys now terminated campaign manager - Robert Litchfield! The man grossed 93 million dollars in 2005 and the same year contributed 2 million to the candidates. Don’t give up now, hundreds of activist from all races want WWASP shut down. Martin’s case will not be in vain, unless activist move on. Stay and fight for Martin’s memory.

The facts speak for themself. If there is to be justice now, it will come through the hands of the federal prosecutors.
