Right after the Katrina atrocity, wasn't Eric Mann the first to come up with a plan? I myself have been trying to work on and off with people on trying to get a NOLA fightback support going -- but frankly, most on the U.S. Left are IMO politically incompetent. They simply do not see -- nor do they seem to care too much, frankly -- that NOLA is the frontline of the class-struggle today. Which is not the same thing as saying it is the only front of that struggle -- just the strategic one.

We're waiting on some leadership here -- `cause most on the Left simply aren't going to figure it out on their own, and that's a fact. And a lot of the rest aren't in a position to provide that leadership.

I heartily suggest that we systematically tie the NOLA struggle into all the other struggles currently being undertaken in isolation -- like immigrant rights for instance. Not to mention linking up with the Revolution in América Latina -- starting with the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela.
