Kunstler, LATOC, and misogyny
From Insurgent American
Editorial intervention from Stan Goff
De Clarke forwarded the latest from Jim Kunstler via Life After the Oil Crash (LATOC), wherein Kunstler manages to drip his “critique†of Senator Hillary Clinton’s presidential candidacy with effortless sexism and racism, and LATOC follows on enthusiastically with references to “bitch-slapping†contests.
We are obliged, then, as a site that echoes some of the themes for which Kunstler and LATOC are known (unsustainability and looming energy crisis), to denounce both for this gratuitious attack on women, and Kunstler’s execreble references to “oriental despots†and obvious reference to Black men as “lumpen baby-daddy’s.â€

hillary clinton lost her womanly core many years ago. it was never really that strong, and i am not so sure she ever had one..but she is a good actress.
28 March 2009, 5:41 pmsadly, she has bought into predatory elixir of power and money that runs the world. this is the programming. this is masculine energy gone amuck..nothing new here.
she is a man in a woman’s body…’one of the boys.’
she does not qualify as a ‘victim’/recipient of misogyny, but she will use any outcries of misogyny to her advantage as a leverage to pull ahead with her cold hearted agendas…she hates palestine just like the rest of the white house gang. she is not a peacemaker/negotiator in any measure of the word. she is a member of the global elite/israeli/nazi club– bought and paid for, no different than any other current politician in power.

As old as this post is, anyone trolling across it can find the reply to “bridget.’ The reply is the whole point of the poast; and it has been simply ignored and bypassed by the comment above. Attacks premised on the devaluation or denigration of women-as-women, no matter who the attack is directed at, is an attack on all women. Any man who tries to verbally “top” another man by calling him “bitch” is doing the same thing. Simplest syllogism.
Bitch means woman.

Women are bad, or less-than.

stan, you can take this comment down right away, but — mechanical issue: the “h” on the “http” in the “Full Editorial” link is missing, thus causing it to break when people click on it.
