I was struck by how persistant they were in rationalizing and justifing Imus's statements. I can't say I was too surprised, I've come to learn lately of the depth of racism and sexism in the US. Stan's writings (Among others) have had a lot to do with it this "awakening." Just shows you how fucked up this country really is. Then apparently some feel there's a lack of patriotism for no exhibiting love for the kind of society the Imus's and war criminals help create...I can't grasp that logic either...hatred, war, death for dollars..???
