Why are we dressing our daughters like this?
Eight-year-olds in fishnets, padded ‘bralettes’ and thong panties: Welcome to the Junior Miss version of raunch culture

In his most recent visual tome, Katlick School, the famed American fashion photographer Sante D’Orazio examines the titillating power of the Catholic schoolgirl uniform — a fetish, his publishers write, “as psycho-sexually resonant as the black motorcycle jacket or the nurse’s uniform.” The book chronicles the coming of age of Kat, a “beautiful Latina schoolgirl,” whose sexual curiosity grows increasingly outsized for her pleated skirt and bobby socks. (It’s not the most original idea, maybe, but it’s a crowd-pleaser.) Kat’s unravelling begins with flashes of Snoopy underwear. In a matter of pages, she’s traded in her pressed plaid uniform for nothing but a pair of thigh-high spike-heeled boots. “I was experimenting with a symbol of virginity, the untouched, the ideal, the romantic notion of the pure,” says D’Orazio, who famously enshrined Pamela Anderson in the canon of erotic coffee-table literature in 2005 with Pam: American…
This might be better called “marketing self-objectification early.”

Thomas T. Panto:
In the ”Civilized Roman Empire”, being a Human is forbidden.
You are labeled a ”born sinner” and your body is labeled ”Pornography”.
In exchange for obedient servitude to your ruling master, you will be issued permission to marry and produce more slaves for your owners.
Humans here must find other ways to be Admired.
Humans here must fantasize about the childhood that they were denied.
For 3.7 million years, no five year old has ever had to wear clothes in order to be loved. But when Humanity is cursed, condemned and forbidden, and NORMAL HUMAN CONTACT denied , then countless forms of ABNORMAL HUMAN CONTACT is created, as Humanity seeks to replace the LOVE and RESPECT for FRAGILE Human Life, that it was BORN to discover.

Oh, sweet jumping jesus on a pogo stick.
This isn’t about a generic clump of homo sapiens of whatever sex feeling bad due to lack of admiration. Denial of our humanity goes a bit farther than simply leaving us feeling undadmired or unadored. This isn’t so much about fantasy either. Using words like cursed, condemned, forbidden to describe the situation hides the reality of it, attempts to mystify it.
Little girls gender boot-camp is getting publicly hardcore earlier on than what we say thirty-something-ish folks (and up) are used to seeing. The “ideal woman” in our culture is a weak and willing rape victim, not a real person. Shit. Just go to target or Wal Mart, or Kmart and you’ll be able to find little, tiny high-heeled shoes for girls. Among other sex-work inspired wear.
If this is not a clear illustration of how the sex industry is NOT a liberating line of work for women, I don’t know what the hell it is, then.
But that was a bit of a tangent. Point is, don’t attempt to mystify our suffering. It doesn’t need it. It’s bad enough in flesh and blood. Thanks.

For lack of a better place for this appeal, I’ve written an essay on Objectification that’s posted on a blog I co-author (mediastrike.org). I’m planning on using it as the basis for a short video, so it would be great if people could have a read and tell me what they think. My biggest concern is that I don’t really explain liberalism properly. I’m kind of parroting lines which I’m not confident of my understanding in. So anyone who can point my in the direction of a good critique of liberalism as a tool for analyzing society will be much appreciated.

Seeing and knowing has protected fragile Human Life for over 3 million years.
Without knowledge, power is destructive.
An ignorant, starving and confused animals will ”eat” anything… paper centerfolds, blow up dolls, and even their own little children.
To admire, respect, and defend Human Life, Humans must see and now how fragile Human Life and Happiness actually is and how nesessary Wisdom is to making Children as well protected as are our pet dogs and cats, that we know to be fragile.
Only those who are unaware of the life altering, life threating thruth about Human reproduction, and child Birth, will think that it is all just a game surrounding the great mystery called, ‘’sex”.
It is hard to admire and respect Humans while they are acting like a Rabid Animal, and so, the paradox is complete. Ignorance leads to disrespect, and disrespect leads to ignorance.
