birth announcement
Alyssia Teresa Hobbs, weighing 9 pounds and 6 ounces, entered the stream of humanity yesterday, August 20, at 4:26 PM EDT. She is possessed of a thick head of black hair, a firm grip, a mellow demeanor, and a hearty appetite. Six family members were there with the midwife, when Allysia experienced her first glimpse of light. Mom and child (our third grandchild and first grandDAUGHTER) are doing well; and all of us have now recovered with some sleep. Another reason for working to make the world whole.
